Iowa Trail Run Series

Brand new in 2026, the Iowa Trail Run Series is heading to Sleepy Hollow in Des Moines-part of Polk County Conservation’s family of parks. On June 27 you can run a 5k or 10k – up to you!
When you join these races you’ll get a great race with clear marking and course support, with basic timing, a cool custom bib, and a rotating race item such as a BUFF, socks, a stocking cap, coffee mug, and aluminum water bottle. Signing up for the entire series includes a series gift! Plenty of post-race food to refuel!
This race is hosted by Iowa Trail Runs which obtains a special permit to operate on the Sleepy Hollow grounds. Any questions related to the race should be directed to event organizers.
